Delmont, Pa. — The Standard Charitable Foundation, with support from Standard Bank, has awarded a $3,000 grant to the Rotary Club of Delmont Salem for their annual Operation Warm project. Operation Warm provides new winter coats for economically disadvantaged elementary school students enrolled in the Greensburg Salem and Penn-Trafford school districts.
Operation Warm provides warmth, confidence, and hope to children in need through the gift of brand new winter coats. They believe a brand new coat is more than a coat. Through serving millions of children in need across North America, Operation Warm supporters have seen that a brand new coat offers a child physical and emotional warmth, confidence to socialize and succeed, and hope of a brighter future.
