Experienced and Education Employees

Stoneybrook’s accredited center now employs 10 employees, owns 13 horses, and provides therapeutic riding lessons to 148 students annually (and that number is continuously growing!).  Their teaching staff has degrees in Equine Facilitated Therapeutics with a specialization in Equestrian Management or Equine Management, are certified PATH, Intl., and are registered therapeutic riding instructors.  This certification ensures that students are receiving the highest quality, state-of-the art instruction available.

How You Can Help

You may designate your gift to support Stoneybrook riders, help cover the cost of the horses, purchase special equipment for our students or to the area of greatest need. The Stoneybrook Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that relies on tax-deductible donations to succeed.

Gifts, donations, and volunteers do make a difference; they allow the Stoneybrook Foundation to:

  • Keep lesson costs low for students
  • Buy appropriately fitted equipment for student lessons
  • Educate staff in working with special needs students
  • Maintain the health and care for our very special horse partners

Without help from volunteers, the Stoneybrook Foundation wouldn’t be able to bring this experience to students in need. With your continued time and support, they can grow and provide services to more and more students. No matter what your area of expertise, they can always use your help! No experience is required and there are many different ways for someone to volunteer.
