Standard Bank Welcomes New Local Manager to Ligonier Office
Standard Bank welcomes Cindy Knaus as new manager of Standard Bank’s Ligonier Community Banking Office (CBO) on West Main Street. Cindy has been a resident of neighboring Latrobe for 24 years and comes to Standard Bank with over 30 years of banking experience.
Knaus says, “Banking is my passion, and I love taking care of my customers and helping them to make safe and sound financial decisions,” which fits well with Standard Bank’s family banking mentality. Knaus adds, “I believe in the quote by John F. Kennedy: ‘Change is the law of life. Those who look only to the past and the present are certain to miss the future.’ We live in an ever changing world, and it is really important to embrace every aspect of it.” Standard Bank believes that with this philosophy, Knaus will continue to bring Standard Bank’s Ligonier office into the future of local, community banking.
Community banks improve America’s communities by funding nearly 60 percent of all small businesses under $1 million and by using local dollars to help families purchase homes, buy a car, finance college and build financial security. By driving local economies and creating local jobs, community banks are an integral part of our financial system and play a key role in our nation’s economic recovery.
