Customer Service Specialist

Standard Bank, an established community bank, is seeking a self-motivated individual for  a full-time Customer Service Specialist position at its office located in LaVale, MD.

The position is responsible for assisting the customer and servicing the customer’s financial needs by processing requested transactions accurately.  The position is also responsible for promoting Bank products and services and referring customers for product and service needs uncovered during the transaction.  This position is also responsible for opening new accounts and taking and processing loan applications. Cash handling, prior banking experience and computer literacy preferred.  High school degree or equivalent required.   Successful candidates must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE act, including but not limited to successful completion of the required background checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Branch Manager/Community Banking Office Manager

Standard Bank is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated individual for the full-time position of Branch Manager/Community Banking Office Manager of its Scottdale Community Banking Office.

This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a progressive community-oriented bank.  The position provides for a wide span of control, high visibility, community involvement and service and supervision and development of staff.  It also includes active involvement with expansion of small and medium sized business accounts and building core customer relationships.

Applicants should possess strong sales and service, leadership, people management and communication skills.  Minimum 5 years’ retail banking and/or retail sales experience in a management position or related management experience in financial services industry.

Other requirements include Loan Specialist designation or related experience in financial services industry.  Series 6 licensing preferred.  High school diploma or equivalent required and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related preferred.  Successful candidates must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE act, including but not limited to successful completion of the required background checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Information Systems Manager

Standard Bank, an established community bank, is seeking a self-motivated individual for a full-time Information Systems Manager in its Technology Department location at the Monroeville office.

This position is responsible for supporting the Technology Department in maintaining the Bank’s local and wide area networks, software, third-party data processing system, project management and design support of information systems.

Applicants should be highly motivated and possess good verbal and written communication skills along with good analytical ability, strong customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to diagnose and correct hardware and software configuration problem.

Education and/or experience requirements include Associate’s degree in business administration or related field and technical certification or related work experience.  Minimum two years’ experience in VMware management, Exchange Administration and server patching/upgrades.  Must possess strong working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy as well as personal computer hardware and network infrastructure.  Experience with MS SharePoint a plus.
