STANDARD BANK CELEBRATES “CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAYS”

Monroeville, PA – MAY 1, 2007 – Standard Bank (“Standard” or the “Bank”) announces the launch of its annual “Customer Appreciation” celebration that will be held May 12th through May 25th. Each May, Standard offers special events and product offerings to thank customers for their banking relationships.

Louanne C. Hout, Manager of Marketing and Coordinator of Customer Care stated, “Our customers are the Bank’s most valuable asset. I am proud to say that once a year we pause, we plan, and make sure we extend our sincere thanks…in a big way. Customer Appreciation has been an annual tradition at Standard for over 14 years. We always offer some strong product and service values during this event - plus, we also like to inject some fun by adding the element of surprise with gifts and refreshments in our Community Banking Offices. We definitely have exciting events planned to make you smile!”

Gwen Lewton, Community Banking Office Coordinator, commented, “As a community-based bank we use Customer Appreciation Days to show our appreciation and also generate some excitement. Just by stopping in to visit, customers can register to win a gas grill that will be given away on May 25th at each of our full service banking locations.” Lewton added, “During Customer Appreciation Days it’s also the perfect opportunity to Refer a Friend to Standard. We provide financial incentives for both the customer who makes the referral and the friend they refer. It’s our way of saying that we appreciate you!”

W. Joy Carpenter, Eastern Region Coordinator stated, “I was pleased with the overwhelming response from our customers last year during Customer Appreciation Days. This event really gives us the opportunity to prove that we are truly a community focused bank and our customer relationships are very important to us. I am also very happy that we are introducing new added technology and better convenience to our small business customers this year. Free online banking, bill pay and business checkcards are now available to small business customers.”

Standard will be offering special deposit and loan values. Other Customer Appreciation specials include the opportunity for a free Financial Planning Analysis or a second opinion on your financial plan. Additionally, Loan Specialists will be available to discuss the best financing options for you and the staff will be demonstrating the ease of ONLine Banking.
