Standard Bank is putting it all “ONLine” for Customers

Hyndman, PA— Standard Bank (“Standard” or the “Bank”) announces the launch of Standard Bank ONLine, an Internet Banking product. This state of the art system will allow Standard’s customers to access their bank accounts and pay bills for FREE from almost any Internet-connected computer.

“We are giving our customers convenient access to their financial assets and banking activity, any time, anywhere. Time and money are important to our customers, so we added a new Internet service that enables them to easily pay bills, obtain account balances, verify deposits, examine check detail and search for particular checks. They can also export information to Microsoft® Money and/or Intuit® Quicken via QIF files,” commented Joy Carpenter, Vice President. “Many transactions that previously required a trip to the bank can now be completed with a few points and clicks. Customers using Standard Bank ONLine can transfer funds between accounts, make loan payments, and better manage their finances. And best of all, both of Standard Bank’s ONLine banking and bill pay services are free, ” added Louanne C. Hout, VP & Manager of Marketing.

Sheila Crystaloski, VP & Director of Technology stated, “Standard Bank ONLine gives our customers one of the highest levels of security available for all their transactions. Only authorized users will have access to their account information. Standard Bank ONLine uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the industry standard and among the best security options available today for commerce transactions. The service utilizes 128-bit encryption to protect personal information as it is transmitted across the Internet. We understand our customers’ concerns about security and focus a lot of attention on that aspect of this service”, continued Crystaloski.

“We hope that our customers will take advantage of the many benefits of online banking: instant access to account information and essentially round-the-clock and round-the-world convenience”, added Carpenter.
